To the Editors
Quite remarkable to see Pine Hall's American Legion Post 245 flying the Ukrainian flag. Are the Legionnaires expressing their sympathy for the innocent collateral damage in Joe Biden's proxy war against Vladimir Putin or their allegiance to our effort to impose American Wokeism on Moscow? If Post 245's members are signaling their loyalty to our Globalist American Empire, then better flags to fly in solidarity would be the Burn Loot and Murder, the Rainbow, and the I Heart Fauci. I pray they are not recruiting future veterans of foreign wars from among Happy Valley's best and brightest. War may be an inevitable condition of fallen man, but hopefully Legionnaires remember our fellow Pennsylvanian, Smedley Butler, and his adage, "war is a racket" when watching Rupert Murdoch's efforts to channel Randolf Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer.
